Manchester has a young budding Banksy in the making

A 13 year old Manchester boy has been hailed as a modern artist in the making after having his artwork shown in Manchester University’s Holden Gallery.

Worsley young artist Reis Toboloski and pupil at Manchester Grammar School has been inspired by the Brit Art generation.

Reis said: My favourite artist is Banksy. I like Andy Warhol as well, but he was around a bit too long ago for me.

Reis produced a concertina pop up book full of his favourite images and ultimately hopes to combine his love of art with his love of engineering, and added

” I’d love to incorporate art and design into motor cycle engineering, producing bikes which are in themselves individual works of art, adding quickly: I’d like to design them, but not really to ride them, they’re a bit too dangerous.”

The school’s Head of Art Mrs Lisa Murphy: Reis is tremendously enthusiastic and imaginative and has a lot of potential.
